Welcome! We're really excited to have you. Wanted to spend some time going through what to expect with this course, and how we have it set up. So the course is set up over 12 weeks, and the way we put it together was to give you an opportunity with each week to get, there'll be a video that has some just pearls related to the objectives of the week. There will be a set of readings, now some of those readings are ACC guidelines, and you'll see some of them are quite lengthy. They all have an executive summary, so I would suggest starting there, and then you can delve into some of the details if you find interest in that area. And then usually there's a couple chapters out of either the EKG book, or out of the Braunwald textbook. But the goal is that between the video and the set of readings, you'll be prepared for a very short quiz. The reason for the quiz is it helps us solidify the objectives, while at the same time giving us an opportunity to do an evaluation that allows us to offer the CME credit. So the quiz each week is anywhere from 8 to 10 questions. You will get immediate feedback on which answers you got correct, and maybe which ones you may have missed. And then you have an opportunity to remediate, and I believe you need an 80% in order to pass. So if it's 10 questions, you need to answer 8 correctly. Once you pass, then you move on to the next week. We've set this up for 12 weeks, but we're giving you 6 months to complete it, realizing that we all have day jobs. And so just realize that the quicker that you make it through, the more the content is set up to build on itself, the more everything will make sense. So if you end up taking breaks in the middle, you don't necessarily have to go back and review, but I think you'll make it easier on yourself if you can start and make it through that 12 weeks in pretty close to a 12-week period. Now don't forget at the end, once you've completed all the quizzes and you get to the end of week 12, there will be an area on there to follow up related to the certificate. It is worth 30 CME credits, which in our world is very valuable, so make sure you finish up all those quizzes and then follow through on getting that certificate. But we really appreciate having you here and look forward to spending the next 12 weeks with you.
