COURSE DESCRIPTION
This six-part course is designed to educate advanced practice providers (APPs) about cardiometabolic disease management essentials. Whether a clinician is transitioning from cardiovascular practice or another specialty to general cardiology, this course covers everything APPs need to inform clinical decision-making about lipid management, lipid diseases and prevention strategies. The series was developed and presented by Ginger Biesbrock, DSc, PA-C, MPH, MPAS, FACC, a physician assistant and university instructor along with key experts Lisa Davis, DMSc, PA-C, CLS and Jill Ellis, DHSc, MPAS, PA-C.
The course incorporates video, optional readings and online learning to cover these essential cardiometabolic disease management topics:

COURSE GOALS

THE METHODOLOGY
Each weekly lesson has a 60-minute didactic video providing the content for each week’s focus.
